1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the MyCheck application ("App") or visiting our website at mycheck.co ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services. MyCheck is operated by SFDify ("we," "us," "our").

2. Description of Services

MyCheck provides:

• USCIS Case Tracking: monitor the status of your immigration applications using your receipt number.
• Immigration Checklists: create, manage, and track checklists for immigration processes.
• Personalized Roadmaps: AI-generated step-by-step guides tailored to your immigration journey.
• AI Assistant: AI-powered immigration guidance, document generation, and Q&A.
• Community: discussion forums for immigrants to share experiences and support each other.
• News Feed: curated immigration news and updates.

3. Not Legal Advice

MyCheck is an informational tool and does not provide legal advice. The AI assistant, checklists, roadmaps, generated documents, and all other content are for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified immigration attorney.

Immigration law is complex and changes frequently. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided. Always consult a licensed immigration attorney for advice specific to your situation.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use MyCheck.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

MyCheck offers both free and premium tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Subscription prices are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.
• Free trial eligibility is determined by the app store and is available once per account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use MyCheck for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate immigration fraud.
• Post harmful, abusive, hateful, or misleading content in the community.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the app or its users.

7. AI-Generated Content

MyCheck uses Google's Gemini AI models to power features including the AI assistant, document generation, checklist creation, roadmap building, and image generation.

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI output before relying on it.
• AI responses are not legal advice and should not replace professional counsel.
• Your prompts and conversations may be processed by Google's AI services in accordance with their terms.
• We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

8. USCIS Case Tracking

Case status information is retrieved from publicly available USCIS data. We do not guarantee real-time accuracy of case statuses. Delays, errors, or discrepancies may occur. Always verify your case status directly with USCIS at egov.uscis.gov/casestatus.

9. Community Guidelines

• Be respectful and supportive of other community members.
• Do not share sensitive personal information (SSN, A-numbers, full dates of birth) in public posts.
• Do not post spam, advertisements, or solicitations.
• We reserve the right to remove content and suspend users who violate community guidelines.

10. Intellectual Property

The MyCheck app, website, branding, and all original content are owned by SFDify. You retain ownership of content you create within the app (checklists, notes, community posts). By posting community content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCheck and SFDify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, case tracking inaccuracies, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

MyCheck is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app (Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account). We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by updating this page. Continued use of MyCheck after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
